The Prime Minister and the Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces, Mustafa Al-Kadhimi, ordered to make changes in the joints of the responsible security services after the terrorist bombing in Tayaran Square.
A government source told the Iraqi News Agency (INA) today, Thursday, that "the Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces, Mustafa Al-Kadhimi, ordered changes to be made in the joints of the security and intelligence services responsible after the terrorist bombings, which resulted in the killing of 32 civilians and wounding 110 others."
He pointed out, "the importance of making changes away from pressures and influences in security work and rejecting any interference at all."
Al-Kadhimi had chaired an emergency meeting at the Baghdad Operations Command headquarters. His media office said in a brief statement, that "Al- Kadhimi presided over an emergency meeting of leaders of the security and intelligence services at the Baghdad Operations Command headquarters."
Earlier in the day, the spokesman for the Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces, Major General Yahya Rasul Abdullah, announced that two suicide bombers detonated themselves in Tayaran Square after pursuing them from the security forces.
