Al-Tamimi said in a statement to the Iraqi News Agency (INA), today, Thursday: “Iraq has entered two agreements regarding the Coronavirus vaccine, one with the Pfizer Company and the second with the Kovacs facility,” indicating that “Iraq has completed the logistical procedures regarding the Pfizer Company and the outlets have been identified. He added, "We have contact with the World Health Organization to train staff in Baghdad and the provinces, and the procedures are going according to a decree by the Ministry of Health. If the Kovacs facility is approved, Iraq will receive the prescribed doses of 16 million doses in addition to a million and a half doses from Pfizer."
