Iraq and Iran discuss mutual security relations

National Security Adviser Qassim Al-Araji met the Iranian military attaché in Baghdad, Por Nowruz.

"Al-Araji discussed with the Iranian military attaché, strengthening bilateral relations between Baghdad and Tehran, in the security and military fields, in addition to ways to develop it in the interest of the two neighboring countries," included a statement by the Media Office of the National Security Adviser that Iraqi News Agency (INA) received.

Por Nowruz expressed  Iran’s readiness to continue support and cooperation with Iraq to confront terrorism and dry up its sources to maintain security and stability in the region.
