Minister of Labor: Al- Kadhimi directed to employ 5% of people with disabilities

Minister of Labor and Social Affairs, Adel Al-Rikabi confirmed, today, Tuesday, that Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi directed the implementation of the legal article concerned with the employment of 5% of people with disabilities within state institutions.

Al-Rikabi said in a statement to the Iraqi News Agency (INA), "Article 16 of Law 38 of 2013 in the Iraqi constitution stipulates that state departments must allocate 5% of appointments in ministries for people with disabilities, and therefore I submitted a request to Prime Minister Mustafa Al- Kadhimi to activate these Article ", pointing out that" Al- Kadhimi directed all ministries to implement the legal text.”
