Foreign Minister Fouad Hussein affirmed strengthening bilateral cooperation ties with Kuwait.
"Hussein met the Kuwaiti Prime Minister Sheikh Sabah Al-Khalid Al-Hamad Al-Sabah," included a statement by Foreign Ministry spokesman Ahmed Al-Sahhaf to Iraqi News Agency (INA).
During the meeting, Hussein stressed Baghdad's keenness to strengthen bilateral cooperation with Kuwait since the two sides are having positive developments.
Earlier today, Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein arrived in Kuwait, and met Prince Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jabir Al-Sabah and delivered a message to Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi.
