The Ministry of Health and Environment confirmed today, Tuesday, that the positive indicators of a decrease in the number of injuries and deaths, and an increase in the rate of recovery, does not mean that we are safe from the epidemic, stressing the importance of citizens' commitment to preventive measures.
The director of the Public Health Department, Riyad Abdul Amir, told the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "There is a clear improvement in the epidemiological situation, as the number of injuries has clearly decreased, and the percentage of (positive) injuries from the number of examinations has become 6 percent, which is an important indicator of the decrease in transmission Infection, and deaths decreased after the daily rate was more than 60 deaths.
