President Barham Salih and his French counterpart, Emmanuel Macron discussed strengthening bilateral relations.
"Salih discussed with his French counterpart Emmanuel Macron in a phone call, the bilateral relations that bring the two countries together and strengthen it in various fields through the agreements and understandings concluded between the two sides," included a statement by the Presidency of the Republic that Iraqi News Agency (INA) received.
The two reviewed the regional developments, and stressed the importance of observing calm and restraint, protecting stability in the region and adopting dialogue in order to avoid tensions as well as enhancing regional security and stability.
