FIFA announced today, Tuesday, that its Swiss president, Gianni Infantino, has been infected with coronavirus.
In an official statement, the International Federation stated, "The 50-year-old Infantino showed slight symptoms and isolated himself and will remain in quarantine for at least ten days."
He added, "All those in contact with the FIFA president in the past few days have been informed of the news to take the necessary steps, and FIFA wishes President Infantino a speedy recovery."
