Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani returned to the capital Baghdad today, Saturday, after participating in the 61st Munich Security Conference.
The Prime Minister's media office said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani returned to the capital Baghdad after participating in the 61st Munich Security Conference."
He added, "The participation of Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani in the 61st Munich Security Conference included the following:
- Receiving the Chairman of the Yemeni Presidential Leadership Council, Rashad Al-Alimi.
- Receiving the Commander of the NATO Joint Operations Command, Admiral Stuart Munch.
- Receiving the British National Security Advisor, Jonathan Powell.
- Receiving the Executive Director of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNDOC).
- Receiving the Commissioner-General of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency, Philippe Lazzarini.
- Receiving the European Union Commissioner for the Mediterranean, Dubravka Schweitzer.
- Receiving the CEO of the International Crisis Group (ICG), Comfort Eyro.
- Receiving the Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court, Karim Khan.
- Receiving the US Senator from the Democratic Party, Senator Elissa Slotkin.
- Receiving a delegation from the Klas Company, which specializes in agricultural equipment.
- Receiving the CEO of the German company (Veridos), Mr. Mark Seifert.
- Receiving the President of the Spanish group (Indra), Mr. Angel Escribano.
