Many Iraqis entered the country last night through the Al-Qaim border crossing, the Iraqi News Agency (INA) reporter confirmed Monday.
According to the reporter, "the security units are fully deployed," and "the Iraqi border is fully secured and there is no breach."
He also mentioned that "the interior minister and security leaders conducted a field tour along the border strip," adding that "the situation is secured and controlled and there is a state of calm on the Iraqi-Syrian border strip."
He stated that "there is no concern or fear" despite the fact that "a number of Iraqis entered the country last night through al-Qaim border crossing, coming from Syria."
