Defense Minister: Iraq’s Brave Army Continues Its Vigilance to Secure Borders and Airspace

Iraq’s Minister of Defense, Thabet Muhammad Al-Abbasi, reaffirmed the commitment of the Iraqi Armed Forces in safeguarding the country’s borders and airspace from any potential threats.

In a statement delivered to the Iraqi News Agency (INA), Al-Abbasi declared, "Our valiant army, in all its branches and formations, remains prepared and steadfast in its mission to protect Iraq’s borders and airspace from any danger, working hand in hand with the heroes of our other security forces."

He further emphasized, "We stand watch, day and night, ensuring the safety of our people and the security of our nation. We will not allow any terrorist or subversive elements to infiltrate the beloved land of our nation."
