The Presidency of the Republic offers condolences on the martyrdom of Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah

The Presidency of the Republic offered its condolences on Sunday, for the martyrdom of the Secretary-General of Hezbollah, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah.
 
A statement by the Presidency of the Republic received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) said: "We strongly condemn the martyrdom of the Secretary-General of the Lebanese Hezbollah, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah."
 
The statement expressed his "deep condolences to the Lebanese people, his family and loved ones for this great loss, and we renew our strong condemnation of the sinful aggression against the Lebanese people, which resulted in the martyrdom and injury of hundreds and the displacement of thousands from their homes and regions amid the silence of the international community."
 
The statement added, "Immediate action by the international community to stop this aggression is an urgent necessity to end the war on the brotherly Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, and prevent escalation and attempts to expand the war."
