Federal Police arrests terrorism suspect in Kirkuk

The Federal Police announced on Friday, the arrest of a terrorist suspect in Kirkuk.
 
A statement by the Ministry of Interior received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) stated that "within the ongoing security efforts of the Federal Police units to implement arrest warrants issued by the competent courts against those wanted for the crime of terrorism and bring them to justice to receive their just punishment, a force from the 12th Brigade, 3rd Division, was able, following intelligence efforts and follow-up, to carry out a security duty during which an accused wanted by the judiciary was arrested in accordance with the provisions of Article (4 Terrorism) after monitoring his location in the village of Hor Al-Safin in Al-Abbasi district in Kirkuk Governorate."
 
The statement indicated that "the accused was referred to the competent authorities."
