Kurdistan Region election candidate list registration is extended by IHEC until July 18

The Independent High Electoral Commission- IHEC announced Monday, that the deadline for registering candidate lists for the elections in the Kurdistan region has been extended until next Thursday.

"The Board of Commissioners extended the period for receiving lists of alliances, parties, individual candidates, and candidates of components by three days until the end of the official working hours on July 18, corresponding to next Thursday," IHEC spokeswoman Jumana al-Ghalay told the Iraqi News Agency (INA).
