Al-Sudani, discusses with the President of the Republic the presence of the international coalition on Iraqi territory

     Prime Minister Muhammad Shia Al-Sudani, met this Wednesday evening with the President of the Republic, Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid, where the overall political, security and economic developments in Iraq and the region were discussed, as well as a review of the government’s work and efforts in implementing its program, including the priorities that work to improve service and living conditions for all Iraqis.
     
    The media office of the Prime Minster said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) that “The meeting witnessed a joint emphasis on the necessity of concerted efforts among all in order to move forward to fulfill constitutional entitlements, maintain security and political stability, and complete the process of economic construction and development in Iraq.”
     
    The issue of the presence of the international coalition on Iraqi land was also discussed, and the results of the meetings held between the two sides in this regard, where support for the government’s measures in ending the presence of the coalition and moving to a bilateral relationship with its member states was emphasized.
     
    According to the statement “The meeting also touched on the relationship between the federal government and the Kurdistan Regional Government of Iraq, and the importance of continuing meetings and consultations to reach understandings that lead to radical solutions to a number of common executive and procedural files and issues, based on the constitution, the law, and the highest interest of the country.
