Prime minister Mohamed S. Al-Sudani discussed, on Wednesday, the preparations for the elections with former president of the Republic Barham Saleh.
PM’s Media Office said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) that "Prime Minister Mohammed S. Al-Sudani, received the former president of the Republic Barham Ahmed Saleh".
The statement added that "During the meeting, they discussed the general conditions of the country in various fields, the importance of strengthening political and security stability, as well as preparations for the elections scheduled for December 18".
The statement added that "the meeting discussed the steps taken by the government in implementing the priorities of its program, and what it includes of comprehensive investment and service plans and projects that meet the aspirations of the Iraqi people, with their various affiliations and components".
