Prime Minister Mohammed S. Al-Sudani, received on Saturday, a phone call from the Lebanese Prime Minister, Najib Mikati.
The Media Office of the Prime Minister said in a statement , received by the Iraqi news agency(INA)that “During the phone call, Mikati expressed his regret over the mistreatment of a number of Iraqi students studying in Lebanon. He also expressed his government's apology and stressed that Lebanese authorities will endeavor to remove all obstacles facing completing the paperwork of the Iraqi students.”
the statement continued,"Prime Minister Al-Sudani expressed his confidence in the Lebanese government's efforts to address the needs of our Iraqi students in Lebanon and thanked Mr. Mikati for the care and commitment shown by the Lebanese authorities."
