PM Al-Sudani praises the historical Iraqi-Jordanian relationship

Prime Minister Muhammed S. Al-Sudani praised on Wednesday, the historical Iraqi-Jordanian relationship and the level of bilateral cooperation between the two brotherly countries in several fields.

Al-Sudani received the heads of a number of Jordanian media institutions, where the Ambassador of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan to Iraq, and the Captain of Iraqi Journalists, President of the Union of Arab Journalists attended the meetings as well, included a statement by the media office of the Prime Minister, received by the Iraqi News Agency - INA.

The delegation congratulated PM Al-Sudani on the occasion of the national team's victory in the 25th Arabian Gulf Cup in Basra.

During the meeting, they also reviewed the most prominent issues and files of common interest, and the role of the media in supporting efforts facing various challenges in the region and the world.

The Prime Minister praised "the historical relationship between Iraq and Jordan as well as the level of bilateral cooperation between the two brotherly countries in several fields," referring to "Iraq's pivotal role in the region, and its adoption of the principle of balance in establishing its relations with the countries of the region and the world," according to the statement.
