Prime Minister Muhammad Shia'a Al-Sudani, discussed on Wednesday, in a telephone call with Jordan's King Abdullah II bin Al-Hussein, the development of bilateral relations between the two countries.
The media office of the Prime Minister said, in a statement, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "Prime Minister Muhammad Shia'a Al-Sudani received a phone call from the Jordanian King, Abdullah II bin Al-Hussein, and discussed with him the development of bilateral relations between the two countries, and the promotion of mutual cooperation and development in various fields, as well as discussing regional and international issues of common interest."
The statement added, "Jordan's King Abdullah II, during the call, extended his congratulations to the Prime Minister on the occasion of the Iraqi team's victory in the 25th Gulf Cup hosted by Iraq, and praised the good organization of the tournament."
