Presidents Rashid, Al-Halbousi congratulate the Iraqi Judiciary Day

The President of the Republic, Abdullatif Rashid, and Parliament Speaker, Muhammad al-Halbousi, congratulated on Monday,  the Iraqi Judiciary Day.

The President of the Republic said in his tweet to him on Twitter, followed by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "We congratulate the judges on the occasion of the Iraqi Judiciary Day," noting that "the role of the judiciary is an important professional role in establishing an independent judiciary that is committed to the constitution and laws."

For his part, Parliament Speaker Muhammad al-Halbousi said in his tweet to him via Twitter, followed by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "On Judicial Day, we congratulate to the judicial family and recall its role in achieving justice, preserving the constitution and protecting the rights of the people."

Al-Halbousi stressed "the necessity and importance of respecting the decisions of the judiciary and adhering to its independence and impartiality."
