The President of the Kurdistan Region, Nechirvan Barzani, confirmed on Saturday ,the support of Prime Minister Muhammad Shia Al-Sudani in implementing the government's provisions, indicating that Baghdad will be stronger if all the Iraqis obtain all their rights.
Barzani said, at the official memorial ceremony on the occasion of the martyrdom of Sayyid Muhammad Baqir al-Hakim, which was attended by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "The anniversary of the martyrdom of Sayyid al-Hakim, through which we recall the memory of the days of the joint struggle against dictatorship."
He added, "The rights of the components must be guaranteed in accordance with the constitution," stressing "that they support the prime minister in implementing the government's provisions."
He expressed his hope for "implementing the provisions of the agreement to form the government," pointing out that "the time is right to solve all problems and restore Iraq's role in the region."
Barzani stressed, "Baghdad will be stronger if the Iraqis obtain all their rights, and we must work in the spirit of partnership, pluralism, and nationalism," adding, "We have the time and opportunity to work on resolving all outstanding problems."
