The Prime Minister, Muhammad Shia'a Al-Sudani, affirmed today, Thursday, Iraq's commitment to maintaining balanced relations with all friendly and brotherly countries.
The media office of the Council of Ministers stated, in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "the Prime Minister, Muhammad Shia' al-Sudani, received in Riyadh the Secretary-General of the Cooperation Council for the Arab Gulf States, Nayef Mubarak Al-Hajraf, on the sidelines of his participation in the Arab-Chinese summit, and during the meeting they discussed the overall relations between Iraq and the countries of the Cooperation Council.
During the meeting, Al-Sudani expressed "Iraq's endeavor to consolidate the foundations of joint regional work and integration," indicating "Iraq's commitment to maintaining balanced relations with all friendly and brotherly countries, and to developing their economic paths.".
For his part, the Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council stressed "the importance of developing joint relations, achieving economic integration, and supporting the GCC countries for Iraq's security, stability and prosperity."
