Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein and his Jordanian counterpart, Ayman Safadi, confirmed the depth of relations between Iraq and Jordan.
"The Minister of Foreign Affairs arrived in the Jordanian capital, Amman, and held a meeting with his Jordanian counterpart, Ayman Al-Safadi," said the spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ahmed Al-Sahaf, in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA).
Al-Sahaf added that "the two sides stressed during the meeting the depth of fraternal and historical relations between the two brotherly countries and means of enhancing it in all fields, and they discussed Arab and regional issues, foremost of which is the Palestinian issue."
