Prime Minister Muhammad Shia’a Al-Sudani confirmed to French President Emmanuel Macron Iraq's keenness on its mediating and balanced approach to regional and international issues.
The Prime Minister's media office stated, in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "Prime Minister Muhammad Shia'a Al-Sudani received this evening, Sunday, a phone call from French President Emmanuel Macron, and during the call, a number of bilateral files and issues of relevance were discussed, common interest, and ways to develop the Iraqi-French partnership in various fields.
The Prime Minister confirmed to the French President, according to the statement, Iraq's keenness on its mediating and balanced approach towards regional and international issues, and the continuation of work for the success and achievement of the goals of the Baghdad Conference, to be held in the Jordanian capital, Amman.
