President Rashid: The government is determined to provide best services to Iraqis

    President Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid said on Sunday that the government is determined, within its program, to provide the best services and improve the situation of Iraqis, including members of communities in the countries of the world.
     
    A statement by the presidency of the republic, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), stated that "the President of the Republic, Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid, received a delegation representing the Iraqi community in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan."
     
    During the meeting, the president stressed that "the members of the Iraqi communities in different countries of the world carry an important and great message that reflects the image of Iraq, the depth of its civilization, history and its role in serving humanity," noting that Iraqis abroad are ambassadors of their country who represent it with their morals, skills and experience.
     
    He pointed out that "the country is in dire need of the efforts of its people, to contribute to the building, development and progress of Iraq."
     
    Rashid added that "Iraq is moving on the path of democracy and consolidating its experience in respecting rights and freedoms, to build bridges of communication and understanding and promote rapprochement among all Iraqis."
     
    The President listened to an explanation from the members of the delegation on the obstacles and problems they face in their lives outside the country, stressing their readiness to harness their energies in order to serve Iraq and its development in all fields.
