The Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that the Iraqi embassy in Moscow is coordinating the transfer of the bodies of two Iraqis who died due to freezing on the Belarusian border.
The ministry's spokesman, Ahmed Al-Sahaf, said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) that "the Iraqi embassy in Moscow followed with great interest the death of two Iraqi citizens on the border between Belarus and Poland, and the cause of death was low temperatures to the point of complete freezing."
Al-Sahaf added, "The embassy has formed a crisis cell to follow up and facilitate the transfer of the bodies to Iraq, and to continue coordination with their families."
