    Prime Minister Muhammad Shia’a Al-Sudani stressed today, Tuesday, the importance of the relationship between the two legislative authorities in Iraq and Iran.
    The media office of the Prime Minister said, in a statement that "Prime Minister Muhammad Shia' al-Sudani met, this evening, Tuesday, the President of the Iranian Islamic Shura Council, Muhammad Baqir Qalibaf, as part of his current official visit to the Islamic Republic of Iran."
      "During the meeting, the importance of bilateral relations between the two countries at the economic, security and cultural levels was emphasized, and support for partnership paths to achieve the interests of the two countries. According to the statement.
    The Prime Minister confirmed "his keenness to accept the invitation to visit the Islamic Republic, as an expression of the depth of the relationship and the authenticity of ties in all its forms between the two peoples," noting "the importance of the relationship between the two legislative authorities in Iraq and Iran, which would strengthen the bonds of cooperation between the governments of the two countries."
    For his part, the head of the Iranian Shura Council expressed "pride in relations between the two peoples, and its strength between the two countries at the level of state institutions, including the two legislative authorities," pointing out that "the Islamic Republic of Iran, people, parliament and government, standing in support of Iraq."
