The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Antiquities, Imad Jassem, inaugurated today, Saturday, the annual sculpture exhibition organized by the Fine Artists Association in the assembly hall, while praising the ideas and artistic capabilities.
Jassim indicated in a special statement to the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "this exhibition is an important addition to the art of Iraqi formation, because it contains modernizing capabilities that compete with global sculpture." He added, "The exhibition contained exquisite and striking ideas that expressed the high capabilities of Iraqi sculptors, and the existing works indicate that they are able to translate circumstances and turn them into elaborate forms that express their high artistic capabilities." For his part, the head of the Society of Fine Artists, Qassem Sebti, said that "the exhibition is a cry of challenge to create an artistic civilization based on awareness, culture and creativity in all fields of life," noting that "the exhibition is a step that precedes and follows a theoretical and practical artistic effort."
