Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi, met on Monday, in Erbil with KRG Prime Minister, Masrour Barzani.
“During the meeting, a number of files were discussed between the Federal Government and KRG, "The media office of the prime minister said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA).
The two sides stressed the need for dialogue to overcome obstacles facing the mutual issues. The meeting also focused on reviewing some difficulties and issues affecting the citizens of Kurdistan Region and their daily lives. The two sides agreed that the priority must be given to the citizens' interests from all parts of Iraq and their rights and constitutional privileges, health care, education, and other services in every part of the country, including Kurdistan region.
The statement added that both sides emphasized the continuation of joint meetings, addressing outstanding issues, and providing all conditions for constructive dialogues that lead to realistic solutions within the framework of the constitution.
