Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi and the Spanish Ambassador to Iraq Pedro Martinez discussed, today, Monday, bilateral relations between the two countries.
The media office of the Prime Minister said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi received, today, the Spanish ambassador to Iraq, Pedro Martinez."
"During the meeting, they discussed bilateral relations between the two friendly countries, and means to enhance joint cooperation in various fields, especially in the economy, energy and investment." The statement added.
"The importance of strengthening bilateral cooperation in the fight against terrorism and within the framework of constructive cooperation with NATO in the field of advice and training was emphasized, in a way that enhances the capabilities of the Iraqi security and military forces."
