The Supreme Judicial Council SJC announced on Sunday that Iraq and France are in the process of signing a memorandum of understanding in the field of judicial training.
SJC said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "the head of the Supreme Judicial Council Faiq Zidan received today the French ambassador to Iraq Eric Chevalier."
"Zidan has seen the draft memorandum of understanding for mutual cooperation in the field of judicial training, which is hoped to be signed between the Supreme Judicial Council and the National School of the Judiciary of France," the statement said.
