Ministry of Planning discussed on Wednesday, concluding memoranda of understanding with Jordan, Saudi Arabia and Kuwait.
“The Opinion Committee in the Ministry of Planning held its periodic meeting, headed by Minister Khalid Batal Al-Najm, as they discussed a number of issues.
This included the study of signing a number of memoranda of understanding between the Central Agency for Standardization and Quality Control and the Iraqi Accreditation Authority, with Jordan Standards Institution, Kuwait Accreditation System and the Saudi Arabia Accreditation Center, according to the Ministry’s media office statement received by the Iraqi News Agency – INA.
The meeting handled an activity review of accrediting calibration laboratories, as well as a discussion around the reality of studies and research presented by researchers in the ministry, in addition to the departments concerned with formulating development policies, providing better conditions for research work, and following up on global experiences in the development field to benefit from it in preparing research and studies.
