The head of the National Wisdom Movement, Sayyed Ammar Al-Hakim announced on Monday, his support for the initiative of Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi regarding the recent events taking place in the country.
"We announce our support for what was stated in the statement of Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi regarding the recent events taking place in the country, in which we adopted many of what was stated in its provisions several times to prevent the situation from sliding into unimaginable consequences. Especially, with regard to the fact that the parties and partners of the Iraqi scene sit at a dialogue table that adopts a comprehensive national initiative that leads to ending the political blockage in the country," said Sayyed Al-Hakim said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency - INA.
He added, "We also support the demand of all protesters to adhere to peace, respect and evacuate state institutions, preserve public and private property, and cooperate with security forces to maintain order and not break the law."
Sayyed Al-Hakim concluded by saying: "May God protect Iraq and the Iraqis from all evil and unite their word on goodness and righteousness."
