A security operation launched in Al-Adheim district, Diyala

A security operation was launched Friday, in Al-Adheim district, Diyala Governorate.

 A statement by the Popular Mobilization Forces, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), stated that "a joint force from the 23rd and 62nd Brigade in the Popular Mobilization, launched this morning, a security operation to secure and search Hawi al-Adheim, starting from Safit to the Numan crossing."

 The commander of the 23rd Brigade, Bashir Al-Anbaki, said that "a joint force of the 23rd Brigade represented by the 1st and 4th regiments, the Brigade's intelligence and the 62nd Brigade in the Popular Mobilization searched and secured about 16 km in Al-Hawi to prevent the infiltration of criminal groups."
