Al-Halbousi: Al-Sadr proposition is a national roadmap

    Parliament Speaker Muhammad al-Halbousi confirmed that what the leader of the Sadrist movement, Muqtada al-Sadr, put forward in his message during the unified Friday prayer today is a national roadmap.

    Al-Halbousi said in a tweet followed by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) that "what His Eminence Mr. Al-Sadr presented in his message today is a national road map, which was the basis for building a strong alliance that adopts these proposals and other basics and necessities of society."

    He added, "The political process needs a new decade in which the national forces adopt the treatment of mistakes and sins, away from the illusions and holding of the cosmic conspiracy experienced by some."

    The leader of the Sadrist movement, Sayyed Muqtada al-Sadr, stressed Today, Friday, on not to bring back whom we experienced their ruling and repeat the old tragedy.
     
    The Friday prayer speaker, Sheikh Mahmoud Al-Jiashi, delivered the sermon of Sayyed Muqtada Al-Sadr in the unified prayer, in which Sayyed Al-Sadr stressed that “The Popular Mobilization Forces must be reorganized and kept away from external interference,” noting that “it is not possible to form a strong government as long as there is uncontrolled weapon.”
     
    Al-Sadr continued: "Most of the politicians have foreign agendas, and the Supreme Religious Authority has closed its door in the face of all the politicians."
    He added: "If they want to form a government, they must commit to remove the occupation, and the first step of repentance is to hold their corrupt members accountable without hesitation.".
