Barzani: The solution to the problems is to resort to the three principles of the constitution

The head of the Democratic Party, Massoud Barzani, stressed today, Saturday, that the solution to the problems is to adhere to the constitution, partnership, consensus and balance.

A statement by his media office said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "Barzani met with the Kurdistan Democratic Party bloc in the Iraqi parliament, to discuss the political situation and the latest steps and changes in the political process in Iraq.".

 Barzani referred to "the Iraqi elections that took place in October of the year 2021 and their results," noting that "the party's insistence and efforts in the post-election process were to serve the stability of citizens and solve their problems and livelihoods."
He added, "We are the owners of a just cause, regardless of the political variables and equations, and that solving problems must be through adherence to the constitution and the three principles of partnership, consensus and balance, and that these principles are reflected on the work of the next government and on all political blocs," stressing that "the Democratic Party Kurdistan is not with the conflict and the deepening of the worsening crisis, but rather what is important for him is the protection of constitutional rights and the dignity of citizens.”.

During the meeting, Barzani presented the necessary visions to improve the work and performance of the representatives of the Kurdistan Democratic Party in the Iraqi parliament, stressing to the members of the bloc in the Iraqi parliament that they should consider themselves servants to citizens and voters and defenders of the rights of the people, and that their actions should be more than their words.
