KDP determines the option to resolve the president post candidate

Kurdistan Democratic Party – KDP confirmed on Monday, that a solution was not reached with the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan regarding the president post candidate, while the most prominent scenario was determined in the event that the issue won’t be resolved.
 
"The dialogues and records are still ongoing with the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan regarding the president post candidate. Until now, we have not reached the stage of the solution or an agreement on the position of President of the Republic,” said the KDP deputy Sharif Suleiman to the Iraqi News Agency – INA.
 
He noted that, "the meetings and dialogues are ongoing between the Kurdistan Democratic Party and the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, and reached a very good extent."
 
“The last scenario is to enter the parliament session with candidates for each candidate party. The final decision will remain in the hands of the Iraqi parliament," he included.
