The Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed on Monday, that Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi conveyed to Iran points from Saudi Arabia regarding bilateral talks.
"The visit of a Al-Kadhimi's trip aims at reviving talks between Riyadh and Tehran,," Foreign Ministry spokesman Saeed Khatibzadeh said, during a press conference followed by the Iraqi News Agency (INA).
The statement added, “The Saudi is ready to continue talks at the diplomatic level in Baghdad," noting that” Al-Kadhimi's conveyed points from Saudi Arabia regarding bilateral talks."
