The leader of the Sadrist movement, Muqtada al-Sadr, affirmed on Wednesday that Iran did not exercise any pressure on any Shiite party, while calling on the political blocs to take a stance to save the country.
Al-Sadr said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), "It is rumored that the reason for our withdrawal was an Iranian threat, is a lie and is not true."
