Digital Media: The first Iraqi technical team to join the International Facts Network

    The Digital Media Center announced today, Tuesday, the joining of the first Iraqi technical team to the International Facts Network.
    The center said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) that "the International Fact-Checking Network (IFCN) has adopted and joined the (Technology for Peace) organization, which is a great Iraqi achievement that all organizations in Iraq deserve to be proud of."
    He added, "(Technique) is the first Iraqi organization and the fourth in the Middle East and North Africa among those joining the fact-Checking network of the Pointer Institute for Studies and Media, which is located in Florida."
    And the center indicated that "the International Network for Fact- Checking has 147 members around the world, and with the entry of technology into it, it will become the number (148) member, all of which work in the context of confronting lies and fake news in social media sites and presenting the truth to the user."
