Leader of the Sadrist movement, Muqtada al-Sadr, affirmed Monday that Iraq will not return to apportionment and corruption, while describing the actions of the blocking third as "disgraceful."

Al-Sadr said in a speech addressed to the Iraqi people and was followed by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), "I was not surprised of the blocking third and its obstruction to the formation of the government, since its members do not exist without authority, but has the insolence reached the point of disrupting the laws that benefit the people, there is no new majority government that may benefit the people, and there is no current government that can serve and benefit the people.

He added, "They are targeting the people, pointing out that" the authority blinded their eyes to the poverty, fear and lack of money and souls that the people are suffering from, the militias' domination, the fears of normalization, the epidemics and corruption that has filled the land of Iraq."

Al-Sadr addressed the blocking third, "Do you think that your actions will compel us to ally with you, no and a thousand no", pointing out that "we will not return Iraq to the apportionment , corruption and abhorrent consensus."
