Embassy of Iraq in Jordan condemns the murder of a Palestinian journalist

The Iraqi Embassy in Jordan condemned on Wednesday, the murder of the Palestinian journalist Shireen Abu Aqleh.

The embassy said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), "We strongly condemn the crime committed by the forces of the Zionist entity, which led to the death of the Palestinian journalist Sherine Abu Aqleh, in blatant defiance of international humanitarian law by all laws and norms that prohibit targeting media crews under any circumstances."

"This heinous crime is added to the series of crimes and violations committed by the Zionist entity against the Palestinian people for decades," the embassy added.

The embassy asserted Iraq's official and popular position in support of the rights of the brotherly Palestinian people, who suffered a lot and they struggle for the liberation its land.
