Iraq and Georgia discuss joint cooperation

    The President of Republic Barham Salih, and the Georgian Ambassador Zaza Kandelek discussed on Wednesday, joint cooperation in various fields.

    Salih received Kandelek on Wednesday, at the Peace Palace in Baghdad, according to the statement of Presidency of Republic office received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA).

    Salih added, "During the meeting, they discussed bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to enhance joint cooperation in various fields, in a manner that serves the mutual interests of the two peoples, in addition to discussing international and regional developments of common interest."
