An Iraqi delegation headed by the Minister of Water Resources arrives in the Netherlands

An Iraqi delegation headed by Minister of Water Resources Mahdi Rashid Al-Hamdani arrived today, Monday, in the Netherlands.
 
The Ministry of Water Resources (MoWR) said in a statement, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), "The Minister of Water Resources, Mahdi Rashid Al-Hamdani, headed MoWR technical delegation that heading towards the Kingdom of the Netherlands to participate in the bilateral meetings with the Dutch side."
 
"The visit came to discuss plans to enhance joint cooperation in the field of water resources management with Dutch institutions specialized in water affairs, and to identify strategic directions through which institutional capacities can be developed and legislations developed to address regional and global changes in terms of the water issues." The statement added.
 
 
The statement also pointed out that, "The Iraqi Chargé d'Affairs, Ali Hilal, and the cadres of the Iraqi embassy in the Kingdom of the Netherlands, received the Minister of Water Resources and the delegation accompanying him."
