The facilitation of the treatment of the wounded in the October demonstrations in Germany

    The Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced, today, Friday, the facilitation of treatment procedures for the wounded in the October demonstrations in Germany.

    The spokesman for the Foreign Ministry, Ahmed Al-Sahaf, said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "the embassy of the Republic of Iraq in Germany received the wounded in the October demonstrations and their companions sent for treatment by the Prime Minister in German hospitals.".

    Al-Sahaf added, "To complement the care and guidance of Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi, the ambassador affirmed the Iraqi government's keenness to facilitate all means for the wounded to complete their treatment journey, and to recover as soon as possible.".

    The Prime Minister, Mustafa Al-Kadhimi, said during his reception of a group of wounded people from the October demonstrations with their families, before they traveled outside Iraq to receive treatment, according to a statement issued by his office, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that ".

    Al-Kadhimi congratulated the wounded youth and their families on the occasion of the blessed month of Ramadan, praising their sacrifices and their response to reform, and meeting the true demands of citizens, wishing them a full recovery and safe travel.

    The Prime Minister praised the efforts of the person in charge of managing the Ministry of Health, and the Prime Minister’s Office, which made double efforts to overcome the slow travel procedures, due to the international conditions represented by the Corona pandemic, as well as the slow legislation and bureaucracy,” according to the text of the statement.
