The most important decisions in the quadrilateral meeting between PM, Abdullah II, Al-Sisi, and bin Zayed

    Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi discussed with King Abdullah II of Jordan, President of the Republic of Egypt Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi, Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and a member of the Council of Ministers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Turki bin Muhammad bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz, to promote common Arab action  in various fields.

     The media office of the Prime Minister stated in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "Al-Kadhimi visited the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan today, at the invitation of His Majesty King Abdullah II bin Al-Hussein, King of Jordan."

    According to the statement, Al-Kadhimi discussed with the Jordanian monarch the bilateral relations between the two countries, and ways to enhance joint cooperation at various levels, and the meeting dealt with the developments of the global economic crisis, and ways to confront its repercussions, and address food security challenges through high coordination between the countries of the region, in a manner that achieves the interests of their peoples.
    The statement added that "a meeting was held in Aqaba between the King of Jordan, King Abdullah II, the President of the Arab Republic of Egypt Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi, the Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi, and the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces of the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan." The meeting was attended by Prince Turki bin Muhammad bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz, Minister of State and Member of the Council of Ministers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

    He added that "the meeting dealt with strengthening joint Arab action in various fields, especially in mitigating the effects of the economic crisis in the food security and energy sectors, as well as discussing high coordination, expanding economic cooperation, and increasing trade exchange in a way that achieves the interests of brotherly peoples in prosperity and development."

    He pointed out that "the meeting touched on international and regional crises, and strengthened efforts to develop solutions for them, for the sake of the region's security and stability."
