The office of Sadrist Movement leader Muqtada Al-Sadr called on Wednesday the government to take legal action on corruption at Najaf airport.
"The two persons, Montadher Saeed Ismail al-Jabri and Ahmed Saeed Ismail al-Jabri, have no connection or affiliation with Sadrist movement and do not represent any of its affiliates at all," the office said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA).
"The government should take responsibility and take the necessary legal action against administrative and financial corruption at Holly Najaf International Airport immediately," the statement said.
