Al -Shorta professional volleyball player expresses his admirations in the Iraqi league

The player of Al -Shorta volleyball team, the Venezuelan Jesus Gomez, expressed his admiration to play within Al -Shorta Club in Baghdad to compete for the Premier League.

Gomez told The Iraqi News Agency (INA) “Baghdad is a very quiet and hospitable city, I am always grateful to God for giving me the opportunity to get to know new countries and cities.”

Gomez added, "The Iraqi Premier League is a competitive league, and the reason for this is due to the strength of the participating teams and their organized style of play," noting that " he was surprised by the number of the players who have distinguished and a high level of playing."

Gomez continued, "I had no problem to come to Iraq and play for one of the most important clubs, which is Al Shorta Club," stressing that "he is determined to fulfill his professional obligations to achieve the biggest goal, which is winning the Iraqi league."
