The Federal Court decided on Tuesday to overrule the appeal of constitutionality of the parliament first session, while noting that the presidency of MP Khaled Al-Darraji the first session of parliament does not conflict with the provisions of the constitution.
The court, which was held today to consider the case on the constitutionality of the first session attended by the reporter of the Iraqi News Agency (INA), also decided to revoke the Order of commitment on the temporary suspension of the presidency of parliament, stressing that Al-Mashhadani cannot continue to run the parliamentary session after announcing his candidacy for the presidency of parliament.
