 The President of the Republic, Barham Salih and Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi, stressed the importance of protecting the security and stability of citizens and pursuing the remnants of ISIS terrorist gangs. 

A statement issued by the Presidency of the Republic, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), said, "The President of the Republic received the Prime Minister, and during the meeting, the overall general situation in the country was discussed, stressing the importance of protecting the security and stability of citizens, pursuing ISIS remnants and blocking the path to its criminal attempts to target the security of the country." citizens, and provide all support to the security forces in carrying out their important tasks. 

It was also emphasized, according to the statement, the importance of uniting national forces in order to achieve security and stability, initiate national constitutional entitlements, and focus on meeting citizens' needs and aspirations for a free and dignified life.
